The College Application Barrier

For many of our seniors, applying to college isn’t just about ambition—it’s about access. Application fees add up quickly, and for some families, they can be the deciding factor between applying to college or sitting out entirely.

The Reality:

  1. $50-90 per application (average cost)
  2. 6-8 schools per student (typical application range)
  3. $300-$720 total in fees before acceptance

For families already stretched thin, this cost is impossible. Students make painful choices: apply to fewer schools, skip reach schools, or forgo college altogether.
