As Angela Davis reminds us, “We have to talk about liberating minds as well as liberating society.” From celebrating Black excellence to closing out the quarter in style, our schools have been busy building community and creating lasting memories! At our Tennessee Black History Celebration, RePublic High, Liberty Collegiate, and Nashville Prep came together for a night of culture, performances, and unity. Meanwhile, Smilow Prep ended Quarter 3 with Boots ‘n’ Brims—featuring horseback rides, delicious food, and plenty of line dancing! Plus, we had the privilege of speaking with Ms. Bianca Young, Assistant Principal of Instruction at Revive Collegiate, about her journey and the impact she’s making at RePublic Schools.
