We are extremely proud of our scholars, families, and staff for achieving substantial growth in every school across the RePublic network! After one full year of experiencing the isolation of virtual learning, our scholars and staff returned to school last year with more intentionality than ever, and we are excited to share the outcomes of our work.
The State of Tennessee announced that all three RePublic schools in Nashville earned the highest possible score, a level 5 on the TN Value Added Assessment System (TVAAS). This means that our scholars are growing at some of the highest rates in the state of TN. Additionally, Nashville Prep and Liberty Collegiate Academy earned Reward School Status, the highest possible designation for a school in Tennessee. This designation is reserved for schools that score the highest level of improvement and/or performance across the entire state.
The Tennessee Charter School Center conducted an analysis of schools that serve more than 50% students of color. Among all elementary and middle schools, both Liberty Collegiate and Nashville Prep rank in the top 10 for growth in Reading and Math. In fact, Liberty Collegiate ranked #1 in both categories. Our scholars and staff are truly proving what is possible when a community rallies together to focus on excellence and equity.
We are proud of our scholars and staff, and we are motivated to continue to work with excellence and equity to ensure that our scholars can reach their goals and thrive.
Onward,
Jon Rybka, CEO
