La Asociaci\u00f3n de Gobierno Estudiantil (SGA) ejemplifica esta misi\u00f3n. Recientemente, bajo la gu\u00eda de los asesores Henry Jones y Senethia Ingram, los l\u00edderes de la SGA visitaron... <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hindscountyms.com\/elected-offices\/chancery-clerk\">Tribunal de Canciller\u00eda del Condado de Hinds<\/a>Esta experiencia les proporcion\u00f3 una mirada de primera mano al sistema legal, profundizando su comprensi\u00f3n de la justicia, el servicio p\u00fablico y el compromiso c\u00edvico.<\/p>\n<p>Los miembros de la SGA, junto con los asesores Jones e Ingram, organizaron el viaje. Durante la visita, exploraron las salas y oficinas del tribunal, guiados por la Honorable Tametrice Hodges. Como resultado, aprendieron sobre las diferentes secciones del sistema judicial y las diferencias entre los tribunales de Equidad y los tribunales penales. Esta experiencia ampli\u00f3 su comprensi\u00f3n del proceso legal y despert\u00f3 en ellos el inter\u00e9s por las carreras en derecho y servicio p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, la visita tuvo un impacto duradero en los estudiantes. Les ofreci\u00f3 un aprendizaje pr\u00e1ctico m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del aula. Descubrieron las diversas funciones dentro del sistema judicial, lo que foment\u00f3 una mayor apreciaci\u00f3n del papel de los tribunales en el mantenimiento de la justicia. Asimismo, comprender las diferencias entre los tribunales de Equidad y los tribunales penales les ayud\u00f3 a comprender las complejidades de la ley y sus efectos en las familias y las comunidades. Esta perspectiva personal sobre el trabajo en los tribunales es dif\u00edcil de lograr mediante la ense\u00f1anza tradicional en el aula.<\/p>\n<p>Siete estudiantes participaron activamente y formularon preguntas perspicaces. Por consiguiente, este evento apoya la misi\u00f3n de la escuela de promover la participaci\u00f3n comunitaria y enriquecer las experiencias educativas de los estudiantes. Al explorar el sistema legal, los estudiantes observaron c\u00f3mo el conocimiento de la ley puede influir en sus resultados personales y sociales. Tambi\u00e9n reforz\u00f3 el valor fundamental de la escuela: formar ciudadanos responsables que comprendan su papel en la comunidad.<\/p>\n<p>En definitiva, esta excursi\u00f3n impulsa el trabajo de la escuela con los estudiantes y sus familias. Concientiza sobre los sistemas p\u00fablicos que moldean sus vidas y fomenta un sentido de responsabilidad c\u00edvica.
