PREVENTING CORONAVIRUS RESOURCES
It is of the utmost importance to us that your scholar and your family remain safe and healthy. With that in mind, we want to share some of the resources from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) regarding coronavirus. Below are the preventative measures the CDC recommends we all take to keep our community safe and healthy.
- Wash hands frequently and effectively. This is the most important step we can all take to keep ourselves and our community healthy. Use soap and water and rub hands under the water for at least 20 seconds, about the length of singing “Happy Birthday” twice. If soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizers.
- Avoid touching your eyes, mouth and nose.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, or your elbow. Throw the tissue in the trash immediately.
- Clean and disinfect anything you touch frequently.
- Keep a safe distance from anyone who may be sick.
- Adults and children should stay home when sick, and for at least 24 hours after a fever breaks. Call your doctor and let them know your symptoms and travel history.
- Get your flu shot!
