Last Saturday, Reimagine Prep hosted it’s second annual Black History Gala. Over 150 scholars, families, and staff came together to reflect on and celebrate Black History Month.
We empowered Reimagine Prep scholars to reflect on Black History month and develop their own performances. They chose to recite poetry by Maya Angelou, sing hits by Sam Cooke, dance to Michael Jackson, and more.
Thanks to Reimagine champion parent Ms. Cain for beautifying our gym for the occasion and providing delicious food.
And thanks to Reimagine parent Ms. Palmer and our Dean of Community Life Ms. Laramie Riggs for teaming up to plan a fantastic event.
